Founding member of British folk rock band Fairport Convention, Iain Matthews brings music from his 20th (and final, he says) solo album, The Art of Obscurity, to the spotlight at the Haggin. Decades of touring has honed this global musician. Matthews writes “Music is in my blood. Music motivates me. Music is my mistress. I take inspiration from one of my musical heroes, Curtis Mayfield, who made his final album, New World Order, lying flat on his back. Now that’s love and dedication…and I can still stand.”
