High Style celebrates one of America’s earliest and most distinguished costume collections.  Tracing the evolution of fashion from 1910 to 1980, the exhibit includes 65 costumes, 35 accessories and an array of related sketches. The collection, formed in 1903, is widely recognized as one of the foremost repositories for important pieces in fashion history. 

High Style presents the work of numerous iconic designers including, Elsa Schiaparelli, Coco Chanel and Charles James. The exhibit features the breadth of the Brooklyn Museum Costume Collection, while paying homage to fashion’s response to cultural and societal transformations throughout the 20th century.  Visit the exhibit page here
