Our Inspiration from the Haggin Museum: Written Words Reflecting Inspiration and Inspiring Reflection
The Heritage Writers Community, a 14 year old association of aspiring writers and mature published professionals, meet monthly at the Haggin Museum and present their works for the public throughout the San Joaquin Valley. The group will perform readings of poems and short stories as a tribute to the Haggin Museum in honor of the museum’s 87th anniversary. Hear and see how the setting of the Museum, its history, and its displays became the catalyst for creating odes on and tributes to the displayed artistic masterpieces! Many of these poems and short stories were compiled in the chapbook "Musings From The Museum" available in our museum store.
