6:30 - 9:00 p.m.

Complimentary wine from Weibel Family Vineyards & Winery and snacks courtesy of the Junior Women’s Group are available every 1st & 3rd Thursday evening, when the Museum is open until 9:00 p.m. Refreshments are served beginning at 6:30 p.m. and the program starts at 7:00 p.m. These special evenings vary each month to include live music, special guests and more.

Now in its sixth year of performing 15th and 16th-century music, Renaissance Choir Sacramento under the direction of Dr. Lee Lovallo has established a reputation for authentic and highly musical interpretations of motets, Masses, madrigals in venues in Sacramento, Auburn, Roseville, Antelope, Vina, Folsom and Woodland.  The concert this December at the Haggin Museum is a retrospective of seasonal repertoire the Choir has sung in past holiday seasons, with works by Victoria, Hassler, Praetorius, Merbecke and Guerrero, and with additional Noel settings by Brumel and Busnois.  Spirited audience participation is encouraged in a series of carols ancient and modern.
