2019 McKee Judge:
Amy Baskerville has been scribbling outside the lines since her years attending a Japanese kindergarten in Tokyo. After living for several years in Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore and then the Bay Area where she worked and raised a family, three years ago she moved to Stockton. Art has always been a passion for Amy; be it the delight of a textured tea cup, wall paint of an unusual hue or the placement of objects in a space and the ensuing results.
She is President of the Stockton Art League Goodwin Gallery where she cherishes the varied interaction between art and community and is committed to keeping it thriving for many generations to come.
Amy is excited and delighted to take part in this tradition which the Haggin Museum has been continuing now into its 89th year! To the participating students she says, “tap into the limitless creativity that is within you and your creations can only soar!"
