Celebrating a Legacy

August 3, 2019 12 pm - 5 pm

Join us at the Haggin to celebrate the opening weekend of Dolores Huerta: Revolution in the Fields / Revolución en los Campos. Spend the day exploring the life and legacy of the Latina activist who has been breaking barriers for over six decades.

This FREE event will include “A Conversation with Dolores” featuring Dolores Huerta, hosted by Assemblymember Susan Talamantes Eggman, along with a special exhibition discussion with Dr. Taína Caragol, curator of Latino art and history at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, and María del Carmen Cossu, Project Director for Latino Initiatives at the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service.
