Join Haggin Department of Museum Travel (DMT) on this self-transportingvisit to In Season Market and Nursery, located at 215 E. Alpine Avenue in central Stockton. Master Gardener Julie Morehouse owns this popular historic local nursery. Julie will tell us about the varied history of the property and give us a behind-the-scenes peek at what they have growing, including plants that may be used for our make-and-take project. Following her presentation, we will each create our own beautiful dried flower and herb decorative broom, components of which can be used for cooking and imparting wonderful floral scents. After the tour, you may wander among the large assortment of indoor and outdoor plants, linger in the garden, and enjoy a provided bottle of water and packaged treat.
