Iain Matthews has over 50 years in the music business. He was one of the founders of the band Fairport Convention, which changed folk music in the UK. He has played in bands such as Matthew’s Southern Comfort (They had a No. 1 hit in the UK) and Plainsong. Between his own solo recording and various Plainsong line-ups, Matthews released ten albums to critical acclaim including another well-known Top Ten US hit with the single, “Shake It.”
