Get creative at the Haggin! 2nd Saturday events are designed for children ages 5-12, and feature an enchanting read-out-loud experience and art activity thoughtfully designed for young readers and budding artists! Each session features a hands-on project inspired by the story and a carefully selected book aligned with our exhibits or monthly theme. Reservations are not required, but seating is available on a first come-first served basis. Materials and activities are included with regular museum admission. 2nd Saturday programs are from 1 – 2:30 pm.
Honor Black History Month by crafting a quilt inspired by the iconic Gee’s Bend quilts! This project accompanies Charles and his Gee’s Bend Quilt by Tangular Irby.
