We will be reopening to the public at 25% of capacity on Wednesday, April 14 at 1:30 PM.
We are eager to welcome you back to the Haggin and are committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our visitors. In accordance with County, State, and Federal guidelines, we have established new health and safety protocols.
Due to the guidelines continuing to limit gatherings, we do not anticipate holding many of our regular events or programs nor hosting our late-night 1st & 3rd Thursday evening hours when we initially reopen. Following the rules limiting occupancy to 25% of our capacity, the guidelines are specific regarding square footage and social distancing. Some of the specific modifications that will be in place when you visit the Haggin will include the wearing of face masks for all guests over the age of 2, availability of hand sanitizing stations within the museum, and observing social distancing. Cleaning protocols have been enhanced throughout the building.
Our Board, volunteers, and staff are continuing to change and shift previously scheduled events and exhibitions as circumstances dictate; however, we are committed to resuming our robust schedule of exhibitions and programs when appropriate. We know that our community will need the solace and inspiration of the arts more than ever as we recover from the pandemic.
